Class Details

Classes are mat based and last for one hour.  Each class includes a series of exercises designed to mobilise the joints, build strength and endurance and increase flexibility.  The exercises involve slow precise movements.  The focus is on quality not quantity.  

 

Classes are mixed ability and suitable for all.  Adaptions are used to tailor each exercise to your individual ability and level of experience.  Small equipment such as balls and bands may also be used from time to time.

You are encouraged to bring your own mat but, mats are available on request.  It is also useful to bring a towel as it makes for a useful prop.  

 

Finally, Pilates is conducted without shoes but you may wear socks if you prefer – I do!
